Nestled in the centre of Ambleside, The Sportsman’s is a traditional community pub where great sport, great beer and great company come together. Popular with locals, visitors and local football teams alike, we’re proud to be at the heart of the community.
Live sport is what we do best. With Sky Sports and TNT Sports, you can catch all the biggest football matches, rugby internationals, boxing, darts, Formula 1 and more in an atmosphere that brings fans together.
Whether you’re celebrating a win, debating the big talking points over a pint, or simply looking for the best place to watch the game, you’ll always find a warm welcome waiting at The Sportsman’s.
Please note that The Sportsman’s is an over-18s venue and dogs are not permitted.
We look forwards to seeing you soon,
The Sportsmans Team
